Dingle is a town west of Killarney in County Kerry on the Atlantic coast of the Republic of Ireland. The town lies beside a natural harbour and the Macgillicuddy's Reeks on the Dingle peninsula, a large peninsula south of the River Shannon and north of the Ring of Kerry.
Principal industries in the town are tourism and fishing.
The city of Liverpool, England has a district called Dingle.
The UK BBC television series 'Bread' was filmed here on location.
