Rex Carroll is a guitarist and known for his work in the Christian metal band Whitecross. Rex Carroll has also been a part of other bands like Fierce Heart (a secular band), King James and The Rex Carroll Band. He also filled in and did all the guitar work on Eden's 1994 album "Fan The Flame". In Whitecross, he not only appeared as the lead guitarist, but also served as songwriter and producer for six U.S. and world tours. Whitecross won two Dove Awards for "Hard Music Album of the Year" in 1990 and 1992.
Carroll has recorded numerous sound libraries, many of which have been picked up for use by ESPN for their NFL highlights, as well as Season One of the Anna Nicole Smith Show. A percentage of the proceeds from this project will benefit the Jackson Recovery Centers.
