London and use of minor edit flag

Hi, regardless of the merit of your edit which I disagreed with and undid, you should definitely not mark such edits as minor. Cheers, --John (talk) 07:11, 10 August 2011 (UTC)

I see you have removed this a third time. At least you didn't flag it as minor this time, thanks for that. Rather than edit-warring, why not join the discussion at Talk:London and see if you can justify this removal? --John (talk) 07:25, 10 August 2011 (UTC)

Genocides in history

Please do not edit war at the article, especially if your source from Yad Vashem which you recently added does not support your numbers. In fact the source you supplied is only one page and has no numbers. The existing source supports only 300,000-350,000 victims. Per WP:RS, WP:V please supply a reliable and verifiable source for your proposed numbers. Also be mindful that per WP:3RR you are only allowed 3 reverts per a 24-hour period. Per the edit-warring policy it is also much more preferable if you engaged on the talk page of the article with your evidence so that your proposed edits can gather the proper consensus. Thank you. August 2011

Please do not attack other editors. Comment on content, not on contributors. Personal attacks damage the community and deter users. Please stay cool and keep this in mind while editing. Thank you. Choyoołʼįįhí:Seb az86556 10:53, 14 August 2011 (UTC)

You currently appear to be engaged in an edit war according to the reverts you have made on Genocides in history. Users are expected to collaborate with others and avoid editing disruptively.

In particular, the three-revert rule states that:

  1. Making more than three reversions on a single page within a 24-hour period is almost always grounds for an immediate block.
  2. Do not edit war even if you believe you are right.

If you find yourself in an editing dispute, use the article's talk page to discuss controversial changes; work towards a version that represents consensus among editors. You can post a request for help at an appropriate noticeboard or seek dispute resolution. In some cases it may be appropriate to request temporary page protection. If you continue to edit war, you may be blocked from editing without further notice. Choyoołʼįįhí:Seb az86556 10:55, 14 August 2011 (UTC)

FWIW, the link you're trying to add is not considered a source. Choyoołʼįįhí:Seb az86556 11:09, 14 August 2011 (UTC)
You have been blocked from editing for a period of 24 hours for your disruption caused by edit warring by violation of the three-revert rule at Genocides in history. During a dispute, you should first try to discuss controversial changes and seek consensus. If that proves unsuccessful you are encouraged to seek dispute resolution, and in some cases it may be appropriate to request page protection. If you would like to be unblocked, you may appeal this block by adding the text {{unblock|reason=Your reason here ~~~~}} below this notice, but you should read the guide to appealing blocks first.
