: I think it will be easy to adapt the code to any ranking services but it seems that Quantcast only provides US-based rankings. I've noticed that this bot updates the alexa rating in the infobox only on the ] page. Unfortunately, it's doing it completely wrong because it's only updating the numbers there and adding a citation in the infobox, which is also WRONG. It is not updating the alexa rating in the text under traffic and publicity, where the information is cited there. So a duplicate citation in the infobox is completely and totally unnecessary, and also very misleading to readers and therefore improper. Please discontinue having this bot update the ] unless and until you can get this fixed. Thank you. ] (]) 16:44, 2 September 2011 (UTC) |

Alexa bot idea

I've noticed that this bot updates the alexa rating in the infobox only on the Slashdot page. Please discontinue having this bot update the Slashdot unless and until you can get this fixed. Thank you. WTF? (talk) 16:44, 2 September 2011 (UTC)
