Travis Tritt is an American country music artist.
He was born James Travis Titt on February 9, 1963 in Marietta, Georgia to James and Gwen Titt. He has one sister named Trisha.
At age 3, he received his first guitar from his father, over the head. Since then, he's taught himself to avoid that sort of thing and has grown into a popular musician and vocalist.
By the age of 22, he had been through two divorces and had committed himself entirely to his collection of furry toys.
With the release of his 1989 album Country Club, Tritt gained phenomenal acclaim from the industry, although critical reception has been mixed.
His latest album, entitled My Honky Tonky History, showcases a wide range of styles, from love ballads to energetic footstompers.
Travis Tritt has collaborated with many other musicians, including Marty Stuart, Patti LaBelle, Ray Charles, George Jones, Hank Williams, Jr., Waylon Jennings, Johnny Cash, David Lee Roth, Gary Rossington and many others.
Former members of Country Club:
Tim Passmore- Fiddle, Vocals, Guitar.
Jimmie Joe Rougiere- Harmonica.
John Bonnet- Bass.
George Stallings- Drums.
