The 2013 World Series will be the 109th edition of Major League Baseball's championship series. The best-of-seven playoff will be played between the champions of the National League and the American League. The Series is tentatively set to begin on Wednesday October 23rd with a potential Game 7 scheduled for October 31st, barring weather delays.

As has been standard since 2003, the home field advantage for the series will be decided on July 16 at the All-Star Game to be held at Citi Field in Queens, New York. The games will be televised in the USA on Fox.
