What You Leave Behind is the final episode of the television show Star Trek: Deep Space Nine. Much of the episode is set on Cardassia Prime, the home world of the Cardassians and the headquarters of the Dominion in the Alpha Quadrant. Starfleet and other powers joined together to launch an attack on the Dominion on Cardassia Prime.
In this episode, the Dominion surrenders and the war ends. Julian Bashir and Ezri Dax finally acknowledge their feelings for each other and begin a relationship. Worf is made ambassador to the Klingon Empire. Odo returns to the Great Link and cures his people of the changeling disease.
