The Martyrs of Uganda are a group of Roman Catholics and Protestants killed by Mwanga, ruler of Buganda. They were killed between 1885 and 1887.
Twenty-two Roman Catholic martyrs were later canonized by Pope Paul VI on October 18, 1964.
