Hi, I just wanted to let you know, that deaf dumb comment was not directed at you, sorry if you picked that it was. The problem of the outing - ish details has arisen because a user has ''demanded'' the details to be posted. • If this has been sent to you in error and you have never patrolled new pages, please ignore it.

Please click HERE to take part.
Many thanks in advance for providing this essential feedback.

You are receiving this invitation because you have patrolled new pages. For more information, please see NPP Survey

Misplaced Pages:Arbitration/Requests/Case/Civility enforcement/Workshop

As you may have noticed the clerks closed the workshop on this. Fifelfoo (talk) 08:52, 19 January 2012 (UTC)

Actually I hadn't noticed, I will follow any advice given by a clerk to this regard. I do see indications that edits will be considered timely until Friday, January 20, 2012. Hopefully this is correct because it was never my intention to forgo proposing a remedy, and mine was not ready to publish until the moment you saw it published. Thanks for the heads up however. Bunt (community)

Thanks for doing the honours at RPP etc. I've done it before but it looks bad if it is always me running back and forth - there are enough people accusing me of ownership etc across a wide swathe of caste articles already & so if someone else occasionally sticks their oar in then some of the attention gets diverted. Although hopefully you will not receive the abuse that I do! - Sitush (talk) 12:09, 23 January 2012 (UTC)

No problem. I don't approve of edit warring as a means to include content. If the IP has a valid point, dispute resolution should resolve their concerns favorably. To circumvent established processes only makes their efforts more suspect. IMO - My76Strat (talk) 12:15, 23 January 2012 (UTC)

New Semester, New Cohort

Hello there! I am teaching roughly the same course to a new group of folks this semester. The course page is here. Any interest on helping this one out again? I think we will only have 14 students this semester. One of the students from last semester is acting as the CA. Debaser42 (talk) 13:32, 24 January 2012 (UTC)

Improving article on Ovation Guitars?

Hej My76Strat!

You may enjoy working with me to improve Ovation Guitars, which still has a lot of sources closely connected with the company.

Today, I picked up an reliable secondary-source (out-of-print history of the company today), which I'll use firstly to provide MRHQ page references where possible.

Any encyclopedia or reference on guitars discusses Ovations, and they would provide even more reliable sources. (Like many company histories, the book was written with the cooperation of Ovation, and so other sources would be even more authoritative, especially when discussing design innovations---bowl, (ergonomic) shallow-bowls, electronic pick-ups, tuner, top sound-holes, neck (reinforcement and electric-feeling thin-ness as well as use of synthetics rather than only wood). Even a Swedish bookstore had a too-expensive directory of guitars with 10 pages on various Ovations. I'll bet that you or your local libraries would have a lot of nice references! :)

Does that sound mildly interesting to you? (You might just enjoy reading the feature story in the New York Times, which is publicly available, for free apparently.)

Misplaced Pages:WikiProject Classroom coordination/SFSU Class Project#Checklist for articles

Well, it looks like they're all done (ages ago). If you're still up for it, could you please fly through the articles and fill in the ticks? Many thanks. (If you can't for some reason, please let me know, and I will look after it.) Best wishes, Anna Frodesiak (talk) 08:28, 27 January 2012 (UTC)
