The Mukkulathor community (Template:Lang-ta, "people of the three clans") is native to the central and southern districts of Tamil Nadu, India. The name Mukkulathor alludes to the three roughly designated groups (Kallar, Maravar, Agamudayar) and which make up this large endogamous social group. This united social caste is formed on the basis of parallel professions, though their locations and heritages are wholly separate from one another.
Mukkulathors are found primarily in the Southern and Central districts of Tamil Nadu. They are also numerically strong in the districts of: Madurai, Ramanathapuram, Tiruchirapalli, Thirunelveli, Pudukkottai, Thanjavur, Theni, Dindigul, Thiruvarur, Nagapattinam, Sivaganga, Virudhunagar, Thoothukudi and Kanyakumari.
