John Lenders is the Minister for Finance, Major Projects, Workcover and the TAC in Victoria (Australia). He is also the leader of the Government in the Legislative Council. He is currently the Member for Waverly Provence.

Prior Positions

He was elected in the 1999 election and has also held the position of Parliamentary Secretary for Treasury & Finance, Minister of Industrial Relations, Minister for Consumer Affairs and former member of Dandenong North (electorate abolished in 2002). John was also once the State Secretary and Campaign Director of the Victorian ALP from 1994-1999, a position presently held by Stephen Newnham.

Family

John is the son of dairy farmers from Gippsland, and is married with three children.
