More ICBC
Am I supposed to begin work on this article from the bottom up? About half of it was taken from the ICBC site, it is true, but controversy section (constituting about half of the original article) was all original, and hard-brokered by me and anti-ICBC editors (with the help of a mediator). Your actions, while no doubt well-intended, has apparently led to the loss of all this material. I was going to rewrite it - but you'll have to tell me where to find it. Fishhead64 03:42, 13 April 2006 (UTC)
- Thank you for your prompt responses. If you could repost the material, I will edit it to differentiate the text from the material on the ICBC website. Cheers, Fishhead64 03:54, 13 April 2006 (UTC)
Coprolalia
Thanks for the notes on the article. The editor just before you made some changes to the pronunciation, which according to the Tourette Syndrome Association, are not correct. (First o is short, second o is long.) I don't know how to specify the pronunciation in the International Phonetic Alphabet, so I just took the pronunciation out. Are you able to help me with International Phonetic Alphabet? The correct pronunciation is cop (like a policeman), row (like a row or column), lay, lia. Sandy 21:24, 14 April 2006 (UTC)
CBC Radio
Hi...just so you know, CBW and CBK aren't actually moving to FM; they're just getting FM repeaters to fill in urban reception gaps. Neither of the AM transmitters is going to be discontinued at the present time. In the future, anything's possible, but the license was for FM transmitters to coexist with the AM signals, not to replace them.. Bearcat 21:26, 16 April 2006 (UTC)
- The very same article also explicitly says that the FM transmitters will coexist with AM signals that aren't being discontinued. Bearcat 23:02, 16 April 2006 (UTC)
Cutie vs. Spiral Heart Moon Rod
- Can you tell me why Hitoshi Doi's site should be taken as more accurate than Gina Biggs' site? TYVM. Danny Lilithborne 22:32, 23 April 2006 (UTC)
- Oops, I see the source of the confusion now. Sorry about that! Danny Lilithborne 22:40, 23 April 2006 (UTC)
Image Tagging Image:Pgsm1.png
Thanks for uploading Image:Pgsm1.png. I notice the 'image' page currently doesn't specify who created the content, so the copyright status is unclear. If you have not created this media yourself then there needs to be an argument why we have the right to use the media on Misplaced Pages (see copyright tagging below). If you have not created the media yourself then it needs to be specified where it was found, i.e., in most cases link to the website where it was taken from, and the terms of use for content from that page.
If the media also doesn't have a copyright tag then one should be added. If you created/took the picture, audio, or video then the {{GFDL-self}} tag can be used to release it under the GFDL. If you believe the media qualifies as fair use, consider reading fair use, and then use a tag such as {{fairusein|article name}} or one of the other tags listed at Misplaced Pages:Image copyright tags#Fair_use. See Misplaced Pages:Image copyright tags for the full list of copyright tags that you can use.
If you have uploaded other media, consider checking that you have specified their source and copyright tagged them, too. You can find a list of 'image' pages you have edited by clicking on the "my contributions" link (it is located at the very top of any Misplaced Pages page when you are logged in), and then selecting "Image" from the dropdown box. Note that any unsourced and untagged images will be deleted one week after they have been uploaded, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you. ReyBrujo 22:45, 23 April 2006 (UTC)

- I do not delete images, just mark them to get the attention of the ones who have uploaded them to correct the tags. According to the fourth guideline of Fair Use: The material must have previously been published.. In other words, if you tag the image with a fair use license, you need to comply with this point. If you have created this image in any way, you could change the license tag for a free one which includes the source as yourself. -- ReyBrujo 03:31, 24 April 2006 (UTC)
