Thank you for contacting me. Definitely happy to help a Mt. Dew fan! It would be great to see you improve film articles related to cinematography and techniques, many of those types of articles are lacking in comprehensiveness, citations, or impact. Feel free to e-mail me or leave messages on my talk page, whichever is easier for you. I'd recommend taking a look at WP:FILM's manual of style, although it doesn't really focus too much on articles outside of films. When editing, make sure to use "show preview" a lot, as that will definitely help you catch any mistakes before saving. Another thing you can do is create a sandbox in your user space which allows you to work on an article at your own pace and not worry about other edits conflicting with yours. It'll be good practice if you don't have much experience in editing.
