Michio Kurihara (栗原ミチオ, Kurihara Michio) (born November 23, 1961 in Tokyo, Japan) is a Japanese guitarist who has played with Ghost, Boris and The Stars, formerly known as White Heaven. He has also released a solo album, Sunset Notes. He collaborated with Boris on the albums Rainbow and Cloud Chamber, and also appears on the Boris album Smile. His equipment mostly includes vintage Gibson SG Standard models, a few Fender Twin Reverb amps, as well various exotic pedals, notably Zvex pedals.
