City in Pakistan on the east coast of the Arabian Sea and to the north-west of the Indus river. The capital of the province of Sindh and the largest settlement in Pakistan with 8.5m people. The commercial centre of the country with a high quality port and airport.

The founder of Pakistan, Quaid-i-Azam Muhammad Ali Jinnah was born and buried in Karachi.
