John Stones (born 28 May 1994) is an English footballer who plays as a defender for Championship club Barnsley.
Playing career
Stones came through the Barnsley youth academy to sign professional forms in December 2011. He made his Championship debut on 17 March 2012, in a 4–0 defeat to Reading at Oakwell, replacing Scott Wiseman after 52 minutes. He scored his first goal for Barnsley when he netted in a League Cup tie against Rochdale on 12 August 2012.
