Windows 9 is the possible name for an upcoming version of Microsoft Windows, a series of operating systems produced by Microsoft for use on personal computers. However, it has been speculated that the Windows brand will be retired following Windows 8.
Some speculated features include only 64-bit or higher support, no legacy support, a single code base, and unified interface across multiple form factors.
