He decided rapping while recooping from 5 shots during 2001, as he is a Blood, Crips (most likely) shot him. He had 3 plans, a. was to rap, b. was to do real estate and c. was to go back to school. He tried rapping and thankfully it paid off for the gangster, Dr. Dre found him in Compton and signed him to Aftermath records. Also, he is currently on various mixtapes released from DJ Kay Slay, DJ Whoo Kid, DJ Clue and other DJ's.

During 2004 him and Joe Buddens started beefing because Joe supposedly dissed G-Unit subliminly while doing a song with Game. Eventually the beef escalated and the two exchanged various songs with each other and to this day they are still beefing. Game has other enemies as well, but has squashed beef with the ROC and other artists.

Game's new album "Ni**a Wit Attitude Vol. 1" will be released October 2004.
