Nymphaeales is a botanical name at the rank of order. Such an order has been recognised by some systems of plant taxonomy, but it is not accepted by the APG II system, of 2003 (unchanged from the APG system of 1998).
The AP-website suggests that the order could be resurrected, for one or two families (Nymphaeaceae and Cabombaceae). This suggestion may be taken up in APG III.
