Some lines have added other bully breeds into the mix and sometimes non bully breeds. American Bully lines originated on the East and West Coasts of the United States, primarily in Virginia and Los Angeles, California and is spreading to all parts of the U.S. It is often confused with the American Pitbull Terrier but is a different breed, being shorter and with a different weight to height ratio.
