In 2000, when both Alesha and Sabrina were auditioning, they met with Su-Elise Nash, and formed a trio. Soon, they were signed to Telstar Records with the addition of a new member, Zena McNally, and they became the popular garage/r'n'b girls band, Mis-Teeq. However, right after the release of their debut single "Why?", Zena McNally had left the band to persue her own solo career that has yet to succeed.

Following the two albums, they toured the United States in 2004 and released their American debut album Mis-Teeq, a compliation of the two albums released in Europe and Asia, featuring such hits as "Scandalous" and "One Night Stand", and appeared on famous shows such as Jimmy Kimmel, Pepsi Smash and Carson Daly.
