Ftelia (Gr. Φτελιά) is a village in the Drama prefecture, in northeastern Greece. Its population is approximately 500 (2005 est.). Its name in greek means the tree elm. It is situated 9km to the south of the city of Drama, Greece. It is part of the municipality of Kalampaki. A large part of its residents are descendants of Greeks which were expelled from Eastern Rumelia (now a region of southern Bulgaria) by Bulgarians during the Balkan Wars. It has a primary school. It also has a football team named Aris Ftelias which takes part in the prefecture of Drama amateur devision.
