H.H. Radhanath Swami was born in the USA. He studied Islam, Christianity and Shaivism before finding his spiritual path in Krishna Consciousness.
Introduction to Devotees
On a spiritual search, Radhanath Swami was practicing renunciation as a devotee of Lord Shiva in India, when he was forced to get off the train at Vrindavana due to the train breaking down. The day of the breakdown happened to be Janmashtami, the Appearance Day of Lord Shree Krishna. When he met Shrila Prabhupada, he felt an instant connection with him and knew that he was his eternal spiritual master.
Was a humble pujari in ISKCON New Vrindaban, where he took sanyasa.
