Ella Yelich-O'Connor, known by her stage name Lorde, is a 16 year old New Zealand singer-songwriter. She released her first EP, The Love Club, in December 2012 which reached #1 on the NZ charts and #39 on the Australian charts. It's been released as a physical copy on May 17. In 2013, her single Royals debuted at #1 on New Zealands RIANZ singles charts for 3 weeks and featured on the Australian charts. Her latest single is The Love Club from the EP of the same name.

Personal life

Lorde was born in Auckland, New Zealand. She is currently in Year 12, attending Takapuna Grammar School on Auckland's North Shore.
