The 2014 season will be Malmö FF´s 105th in existence, their 79th season in Allsvenskan and their 14th consecutive season in the league. They will be competing in Allsvenskan, Svenska Cupen and either the 2014–15 UEFA Champions League or the 2014–15 UEFA Europa League depending on their position in the 2013 season. This will be the first time since the 2005 season that the club plays consecutive seasons in European competition. The season will begin with the group stage of Svenska Cupen in March, league play is scheduled to start in March and will last until November.
