- Kriegsmarine (War Navy) (1935-1945)
- Volksmarine (People's Navy) (East Germany: 1949-1990)
- Bundesmarine (Federal Navy) (West Germany: 1955-1990)
- Deutsche Marine (German Navy) (1990-present)
