Anything he has to say should be said firmly on Misplaced Pages. ] 12:06, 10 February 2014 (UTC) ::::*] is certainly not the sort of Admin who should be encouraged to be chattering on IRC behind other people's back. :::::*Vaguely ironic post given that the reason I requested access to the channel was to hear what was being said about me in the channel. And also a post that doesn't terribly belong in this section. The channel exists, and I meet the requirements for access to it. If you have an issue with the existence of such a channel, this isn't the place to raise it. ] (]) 16:08, 10 February 2014 (UTC)

Pending requests for access to channels

Ops: Please remember to update m:IRC/wikipedia-en-admins/User list when you add a new user.
In June 2012, freenode pruned 300,000 inactive nicks from the database. This removed any ability for the affected users to log in, and any access that user had has therefore been lost. This includes access to #wikipedia-en-admins. If you have been affected by this, you will need to re-register your nick and request access below. If you had a cloak attached to your nick, you will also need to request a new one.

If you wish to access a non-public channel, please add your name and details below. Alternatively it can be quicker to leave a note on the talk page of any user of that channel (who might be able to help, or can add you to the access list) who may see it, or another appropriate talk page.

Please also register your nickname before adding a request (type in /msg nickserv register password email@address.tld, replacing password with one of your choice and email@address.tld with your email address). You may also optionally register a cloak (see above). Format for requests (add to end of list):

* Username and rights links: {{Userrights|Wiki Username}} ~~~~
:* IRC account: IRC Username
:* (Optional) cloak:
:* Channels and evidence: en-admins, ]
