Dingle is a town west of Killarney in County Kerry on the Atlantic coast of the Republic of Ireland. The town lies beside a natural harbour and Mount Brandon on the Dingle peninsula, a large peninsula south of the River Shannon and north of the Ring of Kerry.
Principal industries in the town are tourism and fishing.
The town has many opportunities to hear traditional celtic music, particularly in the summer tourist season.
