Suspected sockpuppets

Detroit Joseph repeatedly attempted to insert negative material in Farshad Fotouhi, a BLP. His edits were rejected by consensus and BLP policy. He persisted in his efforts and was topic-banned by the community for his trouble.

So shortly after the topic ban is imposed, two brand-new accounts show up, each making a few legitimate edits before making a beeline to reinsert the exact same information. The account names are also obviously tendentious.

You must be feeling real proud of yourself right now. You caught the evil sockpuppeteer! He's worse than Hitler! But why stop at this? Why don't you call The Detroit News and tell them to fire Lauren Abdel-Razzaq, an obvious sockpuppet of Tom Henderson from Crain's Detroit Business? There are more newspaper articles in the pipeline (drop time will depend on how much FOIA games WSU plays) and they will also be written by Tom Henderson sockpuppets. Wow, what a long backlog! Misplaced Pages does not have enough sockpuppet-hunters to deal with all the editors angry at their inability to revert published mainstream newspapers. It sure is going to take a long time to come to the predetermined conclusion.

But what I want to know is this: where were all these self-righteous idiots when John Seigenthaler was getting slandered with ZERO newspaper articles? "A new policy, 'biographies of living persons', was created on December 17, 2005; editorial restrictions, including reference requirements, were introduced." Don't forget that some admins can change edit timestamps. It's not easy, but it can be done. This won't present any problem with Truth To The Forefront, but they will have to adjust some of Corruption Watchpitbull's edit timestamps. (But they might also decide that one sockpuppet is just as bad as two and it's not worth the trouble). So that's why I won't be supporting my argument with diffs, they can change the timestamp and say it proves nothing at all. Whatever. Detroit Joseph (talk) 19:53, 7 April 2014 (UTC)

  •  Additional information needed -  Clerk declined. In order to facilitate and expedite your request, please provide diffs to support your case. Please give two or more diffs meeting the following format:
  1. At least one diff is from the sockmaster (or an account already blocked as a confirmed sockpuppet of the sockmaster), showing the behaviour characteristic of the sockmaster.
  2. At least one diff per suspected sockpuppet, showing the suspected sockpuppet emulating the behaviour of the sockmaster given in the first diff.
