The first commercial recording of it may be in the 2004 JM Productions film Guttermouths 30, in which Alex Sanders punches Gia Paloma. Later it was featured extensively in the 2005 JM Productions film Donkey Punch.

For example, sometimes it is said to cause the muscles around the vagina or anus to contract around the penis, giving enhanced pleasure to the active partner.
