Not sure why you performed this edit, but hating something is not proper reasoning for removal; the table breaks without the template, and a compact list if better for readability. Also saying that one "will be blocked from editing If you revert me" in the edit summary when that isn't true is not appropriate for a collaborative encyclopedia. National varieties of English

In a recent edit to the page Zoolander, you changed one or more words or styles from one national variety of English to another. Because Misplaced Pages has readers from all over the world, our policy is to respect national varieties of English in Misplaced Pages articles.

For a subject exclusively related to the United Kingdom (for example, a famous British person), use British English. For something related to the United States in the same way, use American English. For something related to another English-speaking country, such as Canada, Australia, or New Zealand, use the variety of English used there. For an international topic, use the form of English that the original author used.

In view of that, please don't change articles from one version of English to another, even if you don't normally use the version in which the article is written. Respect other people's versions of English. They, in turn, should respect yours. Other general guidelines on how Misplaced Pages articles are written can be found in the Manual of Style. Edit summary

NiamhBurns10, would you please stop using "not vandalizing" as an edit summary? If you have to actually tell people you're not vandalizing in an edit summary, the edit likely requires some sort of additional explanation in the form of a more specific edit summary. It would be helpful if you explained what you are doing in the edit (e.g. correcting a typo) as opposed to what you are not doing (i.e. vandalizing). --Jezebel'sPonyo 16:19, 20 June 2014 (UTC)

Not today, alas. If, however, you would like to avoid having other editors leave messages on your page pointing out your errors it would be helpful if you stopped blanking content without any viable reason for doing so, stop editing other people's comments on their talk pages and leave edit summaries that are actually summaries of your edits as advised at Help:Edit summary. @Denimadept: I'm with Niamh in this case. When you list 2:12, it's not clear from first glance whether that means 2 hours and 12 minutes, or 2 minutes and 12 seconds (MOS:TIME#cite_ref-13). Hi Niamh - may I recommend that you stop editing other users' userpages? Doing so without good reason is generally frowned upon, including creating other users' userpages, even with just Template:userpage mini. Edits such as this where you restore what the user has also removed in the past are also not appropriate. Not everyone needs a userpage, and it's up to them how they manage it (to an extent). You should not be substantially editing other users' userpages, per WP:NOBAN. Simple, non-controversial edits such as fixing a template and whatnot is fine. Things like restoring content removed by a user themselves is not. You state on your own talk page that warnings, block messages, and "stop hand images" are not appropriate, yet you use them yourself. You also state that you welcome commentary and criticism of your edits - apparently not so. Niamh, you've been warned about things like this numerous times before. Hello, and thank you for your contributions to Misplaced Pages. I noticed that your user page may not be appropriate to be indexed by external search engines as presently written. Typically, this could be because it appears promotional, or contains material in development or archived that doesn't yet meet policies and guidelines. I have tagged this page as __NOINDEX__, which allows editing but minimizes the page's inclusion in search engine results. If you believe that your userpage does not violate our guidelines, please leave a note here and we can discuss it. As an alternative, you may add {{db-userreq}} to the top of the page in question and an administrator will delete it, you can change the page so that it more clearly meets Misplaced Pages guidelines, or you can edit it as normal and ignore the tag completely (it will not affect editing). Users may remove warnings from their user pages

Don't try to re-add a warning, which a user has removed from his talk page. Your actions could be interpreted as harassment and lead to you being blocked from editing. Favonian (talk) 16:57, 1 July 2014 (UTC)

Regarding your talk page and user page

I think the reason why Jackmcbarn has been adding the "noindex" to your pages is because they both clearly violate the Misplaced Pages guideline WP:NOTWEBHOST. The fact that you are advertising your Twitter and YouTube pages on Misplaced Pages is a clear violation of Misplaced Pages guidelines. The "noindex" makes it so search engines cannot "find" this page when doing search. I would honestly recommend that you leave the "noindex" intact; otherwise, you may see your user pages end up on WP:MFD. (Seriously, I would highly recommend removing your links to other external sites from your user pages before it becomes a bigger issue. Also, good luck with that "1-year block" thing; the worst I could see happening to Jack is a couple-day block for edit warring.) Steel1943 (talk) 17:02, 1 July 2014 (UTC)
