- But he can't have made any other film, as follows. Let's call Ganga Bruto G, and let us assume there exists some film F, by Mauro but distinct from G. Now, we are told that G is the worst film of all time, so F > G. But we are also told that G was Mauro's best film, so G > F. Then F > G > F and by transitivity F > F i.e. F is worse than itself and also better than itself. Thus we have a contradiction (several, actually) and F does not exist. (If we allow ties for bestness and worstness then the proof can be modified to show that Mauro could have made other films, but they must all be equally good and equally bad.)
