One of the more controversial aspects of passion pop is a disclaimer on the side of the bottle, warning that the drink is "Produced with the aid of ], ], ] & ]. Products and traces may remain." The disclaimer has recently changed to "Produced with the aid of milk, fish, egg & nut products and traces may remain." Many speculate that this is merely added as a precaution against legal proceedings, should an adverse reaction occur with one of their customers. The four items mentioned, while unlikely to all be used in the manufacture of wine, are four of the most common allergenics in food. Paradoxically, this causes many people to ignore the warning - some ] see this as an example of Golden Gate using ] (specifically ''negation'') to manipulate customers into buying their product.

Passion Pop]] is a cheap Champagne, or carbonated wine. It is produced in NSW, Australia, and comes in a number of flavours:

  • Original - Passionfruit flavoured, similar to passiona
  • Mixed Berry - Berry flavoured, mostly strawberry flavoured with a hint of rasberry. Highly recommended
  • Peach - Peach flavoured, very similar to original with a strange aftertaste. Not recommended
