Joshua Bonehill, born Joshua Bonehill-Paine, is an English far-right nationalist from Yeovil, Somerset. He runs a blog website called Daily Bale News (Britons Against Left-wing Extremism) and his actions have been reported as trolling, hoaxes and racism.
A former public schoolboy and Conservative Party member, he was given a 12-month community order following an incident in March 2011 in which he broke into a police station in Chard, Somerset after being kicked out of a hotel for drunkenness. He was charged for burglary of police uniforms and assaulting an officer.
In February 2014, a hoax story about a six-year old girl from Croydon being kidnapped by an Asian grooming gang was shared on social media.
A libelous story on his website The Daily Bale went viral, referring to The Globe pub in Leicester refusing to let in members of the armed forces so as not to offend immigrants.
