Welcome to my talk here! All talks here are to be respectable, calming, and non-insulting. Past is past, and this is the present. And please correctly sign your talks with the four tildes (without the spaces) or I will not respond to your inquiry, and it will receive an automatic removal from my talk page. Also, please title your new section, as well. To make sure you do this successfully, just press the "Post new message" above (or below). Do not edit my page to add and / or remove what you feel you should. If you interrupt a discussion for your own, I will automatically delete it without a single worry -- no questions or hesitations about it. All discussions are welcome here on this page. However, please, do not interrupt someone else's and I's conversation or I will remove it automatically. I won't be involved in petty arguments, I don't have the time for you if that's all you're looking for from me. Any personal insults thrown at me are automatic deletion and receive a report to an administrator or Misplaced Pages higher-power. Thank you! Also, instead of a talkback, I may leave you a "ping" in our discussion, to save time and talk page space. Musicfreak7676

Due to time constraints and past incidents, I will be limiting my time and involvement on Misplaced Pages. My new start here will be different and more focused. I will focus more on myself, my friends and soap opera articles. Please follow all of my talk page rules, and I will do the same for yours. Also, I will not be forming any cliques or joining in on any arguments. My time here is strictly for bettering the pages and articles that I am choosing to edit, not to make "friends" or "enemies". Also not here for biting other editors or anything relating to personal attacks. Please remain civil at all times. Thank you!

Hello, I'm BracketBot. I have automatically detected that your edit to Only Human (Cheryl Cole album) may have broken the syntax by modifying 1 ""s. If you have, don't worry: just edit the page again to fix it. If I misunderstood what happened, or if you have any questions, you can leave a message on my operator's talk page.

Disambiguation link notification for October 10

Hi. Thank you for your recent edits. Misplaced Pages appreciates your help. We noticed though that when you edited Only Human (Cheryl Cole album), you added a link pointing to the disambiguation page Metro. Such links are almost always unintended, since a disambiguation page is merely a list of "Did you mean..." article titles. Read the FAQ • Join us at the DPL WikiProject.

Days of our Lives: EJ

While EJ is still airing, at least for now, the show acknowledges him as being dead, so his and Sami's marriage should not be listed as continuing "(2007–08, 2014–)" and should be listed as ended "(2007–08, 2014)" at least until the show confirms that he's alive otherwise. 216.19.120.35 (talk) 21:59, 14 October 2014 (UTC)

Four and Steal My Girl Covers

Hi Livelikemusic, I noticed that on November 1, you replaced the two covers that I previously uploaded, may I know the reason(s) behind their replacements? I noticed the colour differences too. May I also know what program and setting did you use to resize those covers so that in the future I can avoid issues like this? Thanks! :D SyFuelBurned 05:42, 3 November 2014 (UTC)

@Syfuel: Hello Syfuel, I uploaded images that were of lower file size, which is what's preferred by Misplaced Pages, and with correct colour of the artwork from press sources. Was not meant as a disrespect to your uploads, was merely uploading artwork that I felt was more acceptable per Misplaced Pages's policies of artwork. I'm sorry if you see it as an "issue", as I didn't intend for my edits to come off as such. livelikemusic 14:56, 3 November 2014 (UTC)
@Livelikemusic: It's okay. I'm here to learn. :) Though I was surprised that's for sure. Lol! I don't mean to come in the wrong way. Sorry. :( If you don't mind, may I know what program did you use to convert the size/file? The one that I used so far create large file sizes for PNG. D: This is so that in the future when I'm free I may be able to help you around with album/single covers uploading 'cause I'm a self nominated Wiki faerie. :P Thanks! <3 SyFuelBurned 15:46, 3 November 2014 (UTC)
@Syfuel: Learning is always okay in my book; learning should never end for us in the land of the living. I resize in Photoshop (my main addiction and pleasure) and just make sure to use the proper settings to make sure to get the lowest file size possible, and they seem to come out with small file sizes. Nothing special used on my end, so sorry if I burst a bubble. Just resizing from large pixel sizes and it just affects the file sizes. livelikemusic 15:50, 3 November 2014 (UTC)
@Livelikemusic: Oh... Okay, thanks for the info! :D Currently I use PhotoScape to resize my uploads here. I might learn how to use Photoshop soon to resize the pictures for smaller file sizes. Thanks again for the info! :) SyFuelBurned 15:59, 3 November 2014 (UTC)

The View logo

ABC NEWS uses the logo I uploaded here, they use the version I uploaded on their Facebook page, and on their website as well. I am thinking on reverting it back to mine, but would like to discuss it with you first. In the future, it'd help if you explain why you reverted it using the edit summary. Corkythehornetfan (Talk) 05:18, 13 November 2014 (UTC)

@Corkythehornetfan: The logo I uploaded came directly from ABC's press media kit, and it's the one that should really remain due to size, dimension and non-gradient texture. And please, I would appreciate not being spoken to like you did in your final statement; it's come off as a tad bit condescending, which is unappreciated on my part. I'm not new to this. livelikemusic
I understand that you aren't new and I'm sorry you took it that way, but it would have been nice if you explained the revert in the summary, rather than leaving it blank. If you go it from ABC's media kit, where is the link to it? You placed a link to the LA Times on the file page, which doesn't even show the version you uploaded, nor mine. I've provided three sources, one of which is the show's actual website. And why keep the excess space around the logo? It looks horrible. Corkythehornetfan (Talk) 19:26, 13 November 2014 (UTC)
@Corkythehornetfan: The logo comes from The Wrap, The Huffington Post, Extra TV, TvbytheNumbers and Yahoo, all of which are third-party sources, which are preferred over first-party and social media. The L.A. Times article originally did include said logo when it was uploaded; I will be replacing it with the links I provided. And the press kit wasn't a link I received, therefore could not be linked or I would have. livelikemusic 19:53, 13 November 2014 (UTC)
Alright, I see the "correct" logo. Can we talk about the excess space around it though? I think it looks horrible and should be removed. Is there a Misplaced Pages guideline that says we need that excess space on files? If so, I wasn't aware of it, which is why I am asking. Corkythehornetfan (Talk) 22:24, 13 November 2014 (UTC)
@Corkythehornetfan: I already re-worked the cropping and removed the excess space from the logo; just because something looks "horrible" to your eyes, doesn't mean it's wrong, either. livelikemusic 22:28, 13 November 2014 (UTC)
I'm not saying it is wrong, I was just giving my opinion. That is why I asked in the first place. Corkythehornetfan (Talk) 22:32, 13 November 2014 (UTC)

Good Morning America

Hi. My change to the GMA infobox was not a "test edit." Gibson left the show in one calendar year and returned in a different calendar year. The current infobox listing inaccurately makes it look like he was there continuously. As for your contention that my edit violates WP:YEAR, I'm not clear as to how, and I'm not convinced that the MOS is supposed to take precedence over actual accuracy. Thanks. 67.197.243.87 (talk) 03:40, 20 November 2014 (UTC)
