This school formerly known as "The Advanced School of Commerce" and offered full-time programs in business management. After merger of the advanced school of commerce with some independent college in Tehran, the school offers a wide range of graduate-level academic programs and concentrations. | The Allameh Tabatabai Management School has its origins in efforts in the 1950s and ’60s and establishment of the Advanced School of Commerce. Other important origin of the Allameh Tabatabai Management School is in ’70s. in ’70s, the ] (HBS) support the idea of building an independent institution devoted solely to management studies at the graduate level. Iranian prominent architect ] chosen to built this institute in 1971 which called Iran Centre for Management Studies.
