Lisa Scottoline is an American novelist. Her books are published worldwide and translated into twenty-five different languages.

Bio

Scottoline was born in Philadelphia in 1960. She graduated magna cum laude from the University of Pennsylvania, earning a degree in English. In 1981, she graduated from University of Pennsylvania's Law School cum laude. She became a litigator at a prestigious law firm in Philadelphia but stayed home after the birth of her daughter. She took up writing as a way to make money at home. Since then, she has written 13 best-selling novels to date, including Moment of Truth, which reached #5 on the New York Times Best Seller list.
