The Game (or Game) is an artist signed to Aftermath and G-Unit Records.
The Game is a west-coast rapper from Compton, L.A. in the US state of California, a place for best known for its notorious crimes and gang violence for more than 3 decades.
He decided rapping while recouperating during 2001 from gunshot wounds. As he is a Blood, Crips (most likely) shot him. He made 3 plans: 1 was to rap, 2 was to become active in real estate and 3 was to go back to school. He tried rapping and it paid off, for Dr. Dre found him in Compton and signed him to Aftermath records. Also, he is currently on various mixtapes released from DJ Kay Slay, DJ Whoo Kid, DJ Clue and other DJ's.
During 2004, he and Joe Buddens started beefing because Joe supposedly discredited G-Unit Records while doing a song with Game. Eventually the beef escalated and the two exchanged various songs with each other and as of August 2004, they are still beefing. Game has other enemies as well, but has squashed beef with the ROC and other artists.
Game's new album "Ni**a Wit Attitude Vol. 1" will be released October 2004.
