Axact is a Pakistani software company, diploma mill, and accreditation mill, in addition to being in the process of starting the BOL Network. Shoaib Ahmed Shaikh is Chairman & CEO of Axact.
On 17 May 2015, The New York Times published an investigative story by NYT Pakistan bureau chief Declan Walsh about Axact, accusing Axact of running numerous degree and accreditation mill websites, based among other things on interviews with former Axact employees. Axact responded that the story was "baseless, substandard, maligning, defamatory, and based on false accusations and merely a figment of imagination published without taking the company’s point of view", and that they would take legal action.
