I consider the previous RfC to have failed in the sense that !votes were re-factored in a way that would allow the nominator to later claim that no reason was given for the !votes. In the narrower sense of seeking the answer to a question, it succeeded in showing that there was a majority against change. Please don't push this any farther, it's not achieving anything.
