Speedy deletion declined: Money and the ethnic vote

Hello MopSeeker. I am just letting you know that I declined the speedy deletion of Money and the ethnic vote, a page you tagged for speedy deletion, because of the following concern: G10 is only for "Pages that disparage, threaten, intimidate or harass their subject or some other entity, and serve no other purpose." This is not such a page. If you think it should be deleted, make your case at AfD. Thank you. JohnCD (talk) 12:57, 2 November 2013 (UTC)

Hello, I'm BracketBot. I have automatically detected that your edit to World War III may have broken the syntax by modifying 1 "()"s. If you have, don't worry: just edit the page again to fix it. If I misunderstood what happened, or if you have any questions, you can leave a message on my operator's talk page.

List of unpaired brackets remaining on the page:
  • a feasibility test for a simultaneous launch of all 16 ] liquid-fueled missiles (which each carry four independently targetable re-entry vehicles (]) from a [[Delta Class

It's OK to remove this message. Also, to stop receiving these messages, follow these opt-out instructions. Thanks, BracketBot (talk) 04:25, 2 June 2014 (UTC)

Disambiguation link notification for February 23

Hi. Thank you for your recent edits. Misplaced Pages appreciates your help. We noticed though that when you edited Boeing B-47 Stratojet, you added a link pointing to the disambiguation page Subsonic (check to confirm | fix with Dab solver). Such links are almost always unintended, since a disambiguation page is merely a list of "Did you mean..." article titles. Read the FAQ • Join us at the DPL WikiProject.

It's OK to remove this message. Also, to stop receiving these messages, follow these opt-out instructions. Thanks, DPL bot (talk) 09:38, 23 February 2015 (UTC)

Information icon Hello and welcome to Misplaced Pages. When you add content to talk pages and Misplaced Pages pages that have open discussion (but never when editing articles), please be sure to sign your posts. There are two ways to do this. Either:

  1. Add four tildes ( ~~~~ ) at the end of your comment; or
  2. With the cursor positioned at the end of your comment, click on the signature button ( or ) located above the edit window.

This will automatically insert a signature with your username or IP address and the time you posted the comment. This information is necessary to allow other editors to easily see who wrote what and when.

Thank you. --SineBot (talk) 02:31, 15 July 2015 (UTC)

List to Prose?

You tagged a few pages as better in prose (such as this one) but I don't have any idea why. Maybe you can tell me why you think they could be better (or even not-worse) in prose? tahc 18:54, 17 July 2015 (UTC)

That was likely the result of an accident.MopSeeker (talk) 19:52, 17 July 2015 (UTC)

Some baklava for you!

Many thanks for the welcome. Hope you enjoy these baklavas! Being virtual they are also kind for our diet balance.

Information icon Hello. Regarding the recent revert you made to Lana (wrestling): you may already know about them, but you might find Misplaced Pages:Template messages/User talk namespace useful. After a revert, these can be placed on the user's talk page to let them know you considered their edit inappropriate, and also direct new users towards the sandbox. They can also be used to give a stern warning to a vandal when they've been previously warned. Thank you. w 06:40, 20 July 2015 (UTC)

Deleting for lack of content

Hello. I saw that you'd posted a "no-content" speedy deletion tag at Bahiridev Temple-Sarde. The article has an infobox, though, and the information in an infobox counts as content. See WP:CSD A3. —Largo Plazo (talk) 11:14, 20 July 2015 (UTC)

on my contribution

Sir, I do not need threats against me for editing out what only is seen as a false claim from a tabloid. I'm fairly new here but I know I do not intend to have a user threaten me. I can give several reasons why it is false, it has only existed via internet. If you look into the real world, nothin much happened but however Misplaced Pages is a sight that is to be only truthful and accurate information. People should not be given such false claims onboth pages. Lollithinug23687 (talk) 13:52, 20 July 2015 (UTC)

CSD#G4

You may wish to re-read Misplaced Pages:CSD#G4 in the context of Draft:Zeeshan Haider. Obviously the draft is not fit to become a Misplaced Pages article in its current state, but G4 is not an appropriate criterion for deletion in this case. - David Biddulph (talk) 09:41, 30 July 2015 (UTC)

@David Biddulph: The page appears to be bad-faith recreation of a repeatedly deleted page created by the same user. How may this be addressed? MopSeeker FoxThree! 13:44, 30 July 2015 (UTC)
It is now an incomplete draft, rather than an article. If the draft eventually gets submitted for review, it will be dealt with accordingly; it it gets abandoned G13 applies. If you believe that it meets any of the speedy criteria, then tag it accordingly, but remember that some apply only to articles, not to drafts. Things like copyright violation apply to any namespace. If you are unfamiliar with the various deletion processes other than speedy, see Misplaced Pages:Deletion policy. - David Biddulph (talk) 13:52, 30 July 2015 (UTC)
@David Biddulph: Understood. One tends to be excessively hasty when dealing with disruptive editing. However, G4 does include pages moved to the draft namespace to circumvent the deletion policy. MopSeeker FoxThree! 13:57, 30 July 2015 (UTC)
I agree that the fact that it is a draft doesn't automatically exclude it from G4, but the fact that there had not been a deletion discussion does exclude it. David Biddulph (talk) 14:01, 30 July 2015 (UTC)
@David Biddulph: I used Twinkle for the MfD listing. Does it not perform the process correctly? Is there anything that needs to be manually done? Is the article even eligible for MfD? Apologies for the ignorance.MopSeeker FoxThree! 14:08, 30 July 2015 (UTC)
I don't know much about Twinkle, but when I first saw the MFD the task had presumably not been completed, but it apparently has been now. Those replying to the MFD will decide whether it is appropriate, but in general drafts are allowed time to be developed and to provide evidence of notability, providing that they don't violate the more rigid requirements such as copyright. - David Biddulph (talk) 14:17, 30 July 2015 (UTC)
