Deforestation in India is one in every of the main causes to the environmental degradation that is littered with the agents like farmers, ranches, loggers and plantation corporations. Among the top ten countries in the world in terms of deforestation India has been ranked to 10th position. Where world annual deforestation is estimated as 13.7 million hectares a year. India has considered to be a very vast country after US and China, India is the most populated nation in the World.

History
