Daniel Hotlzclaw is a former Oklahoma police officer. He is on trial for allegedly raping thirteen black women. The charges include sexual battery, forcible oral sodomy, stalking and rape, all targeted at black women. The choice of an all-white jury—eight men and four women were selected. Holtzclaw’s case has evoked national challenge among black women activist and Black Lives Matter movement.
Biography
Daniel Holtzclaw was ( December 10, 1986, age 28) born in Enid, Oklahoma, United States. The 28-year-old father, Eric Holtzclaw, is a 17-year veteran of the Enid Police Department. His mother, Kumiko Holtzclaw, is unemployed however does some baking from their home. A year earlier before joining Oklahoma City Police Department, Hotlzclaw graduated from Eastern Michigan University with a criminal equity degree and had attempted and neglected to get drafted into the NFL. In September 2011, Hotlzclaw then joined the Oklahoma City Police Department.
Trial
Barely a year back, after various crime sexual battery and assault charges were documented against previous Oklahoma City officer Daniel Hotzlaw. Hotzlaw is accused of sexually abusing multiple women after stopping them over the span of his obligations, focusing on ones from a poorer, overwhelmingly African-American some portion of the city. Holtzclaw was fired from the force on January and his trail will begin on November 2, 2014.

On March 14, Hotlzclaw stopped a lady known as C.R.; Prosecutors also believe that this when Hotlzclaw conducted escalated. The following incident, On April 14 he stopped another woman known as F.M. He placed her in the backseat, and asking her about whether she has any sort of illegal drugs and prostitution. All the while, running a check on her through the police system, and telling her he needed to search her. Throughout; like in all other affirmed victims’ reports, he would put them in backseat and ask questions about drugs while standing next to them and unfastening his jeans.
Every women that Hotzclaw stop were either was force oral, sexual intercourse. In court on Wednesday Davis the prosecutor uncovered DNA test that was found on a triangle-shaped on the inside of Holtclaw’s uniform jeans, close to the zipper. Yet the DNA test did not match neither one of the victims that came forward. Family later on made a statement that "The facts are that there is no DNA linking him to any of these women as far as was presented in the hearing."
