Chris Williams is the Chief Product Officer for iHeartRadio. His role at iHeartMedia, formerly ClearChannel, has continued to evolve .

Career

Williams started his radio career in his hometown of Athens, Georgia. Serving as an on air DJ named "Joe Mamah” and the Program Director of WPUP-FM, Bulldog 103.7. His next position was a move to Susquehanna Radio where he programmed Alternative Rock WNNX, 99X in Atlanta.  Williams served as Program Director from 2001-2004.

Clear Channel picked Williams up in 2005 as PD of WBZY "105.3 The Buzz" and then onto WKLS "Project 96.1" He still continued his on air personality on the afternoon show know as "The OC".

His role also included serving as the Active Rock Brand coordinator for Clear Channel Nationally and programing the companies national

Alternative and Active Rock platform, Premium Choice.

Williams was promoted to VP of Programming for the Cincinnati cluster of iHeartMedia's stations (700 WLW, WEBN, KISS 107, WCKY, WKRC, WSAI )

Williams joined the IHeartRadio team based in New York in 2013 and was promoted to the position of Chief Product Officer in 2014.
