The Guatemala national football team is the national team of Guatemala and is controlled by the Federación Nacional de Fútbol de Guatemala. It was founded in 1919 and affiliated to FIFA in 1946. It has never qualified for a finals tournament of the World Cup, but has made three Olympic tournament appearances. In qualifying for the 2006 World Cup, Guatemala finished fifth in the CONCACAF final round, narrowly missing a place in the playoffs.

Guatemala's best finish in the CONCACAF Gold Cup was fourth in 1996. They have won the 3rd North, Central-American and the Caribbean Championship NORCECA in 1967 and the UNCAF Nations Cup in 2001. Guatemala hosted the 2000 FIFA Futsal World Championship.
