If I am not mistaken it is a web forum with a relatively small amount of traffic, and it has had a negligible impact on culture -- you use the example of a Simpsons episode but each one of those has a viewership over 10 million and is *far* more notable than a lightly trafficked webforum. And yes, Death List is lightly trafficked, the Alexa ratings for it have it in the dumps. There are HUNDREDS of celebrity dead pools just like Death List (or similar variants), and none of them are notable, either.
