Barron William Trump (born March 20, 2006) is an American member of the Trump family, and will become an immediate member of the First Family of the United States on January 20, 2017, along with his four half-siblings: Don Jr., Ivanka, Eric, and Tiffany Trump. He is the youngest child of the President-elect of the United States Donald Trump, and Trump's only child with First Lady-designate Melania Trump.

Early life

Barron Trump is being raised in the Trump Tower in New York City. He is ocupying an entire penthouse floor, what his mother referes to as "Barron's living room." He is currently attending the Columbia Grammar & Preparatory School in Manhattan. Being raised by his mother Melania Trump, Barron is fluent in both English and Slovene.

2016 election

Barron only made rare appearances during the 2016 election, with Melania Trump stating she wanted to keep him out of the spotlight. He made a total of three public appearances on the campaign trail; appearing at a campaign rally in South Carolina, and attending his father's RNC acceptance speech and presidential victory speech. Donald Trump also mentioned his son during the first presidential debate while discussing cyber security, stating: "I have a son. He's 10 years old. He has computers. He is so good with these computers, it's unbelievable."

Barron's RNC appearence made news headlines, as photographs of him in the audience appeared to show him yawning through his father's acceptance speech. He then made news headlines again during his father's victory speech. Standing next to his father on stage, he was visible on camera and appeared to struggle staying awake during the 3 a.m. speech.

White House years

Barron Trump will be the first son to live in the White House since John F. Kennedy Jr. arrived as an infant in 1961. He is expected to attend Sidwell Friends, a school which has educated all the children of presidents for the past 35 years.

TV appearances

During his early childhood, Trump made several television appearances, including on The Apprentice and The Oprah Winfrey Show.
