Slaughterhouse Five is a novel by best-selling author Kurt Vonnegut. It is set in Germany during World War II.

A motion picture of the same named was made in 1972. The film was directed by George Roy Hill and starred Michael Sacks, Ron Leibman, and Valerie Perrine.
