Sherri Papini, age 34, was abducted on November 2, 2016 while out jogging. She was found on the side of the road with restraints three weeks later. Around 4:30 a.m. November 24, 2016 her captors released her along County Road 17 near Interstate 5 in Yolo County. The sheriff said that this is still an active investigation and that authorities are "looking for a dark-colored SUV with two Hispanic females armed with a handgun."
