The Cool S, also known as Skater S, Supeman S, Stussy S, Super S, Pointy S, and many other names, is a graffiti signature of popular culture that is typically doodled on children's notebooks or graffitied on walls.
Shape
The Cool S has no reflection symmetry, but has 2-fold rotational symmetry and tessellates with squares.
How to Draw
How to draw the Cool S on a Graph Paper:
- Draw a line from (-2, 3) to (-2, 1).
- Draw another line from (0, 3) to (0, 1).
- Draw a third line from (2, 3) to (2, 1).
- Reflect this along the x-axis. (Meaning flip the sheet and draw the same thing.)
- Connect (-2, 1) to (0, -1).
- Connect (0, 1) to (2, -1).
- Draw a line from (-2, -1) to (-1, 0).
- Draw a line from (2, 1) to (1, 0).
- For the pointy bits, draw a line from (-2, 3) to (0, 5), and another from (2, 3) to (0, 5).
- Flip the page and repeat the last step.
Now try to repeat this on a normal sheet of paper.
